I normally do laundry everyday because I'd rather do one load each day than to spend an entire day doing it. Normally don't mind it. I wash, dry, fold and hang it. The family helps put it away. No big whoopty do. However, after having all of the kids over Spring Break and Easter the following week and company at the same time I'm not going to lie, I'm sick and tired of not just laundry but housework and general. I've let it go for a couple of days but I gotta get my rear in gear. I'm breathing and pacing myself but I've made it a point that I will do three things each and every day that I really DON'T want to do. *LOL* Good stragedy because things are again moving. But it got me thinking on days like the last couple what do other moms do to take a break? I'll go first. I've taken the last couple of days to myself to do things I enjoy doing like scrapbooking and circle of moms. :o)

I am so exhausted every night when I put the kids to bed that I usually veg out in front of the TV and wait for my husband to get home (he works evenings). Last night I was so tired that he came in the door and I didn't even notice. LoL. I am like you, I try to do a couple of things every day and I hate when I get backed up. Hope you get caught up soon!

Lori I totally agree that sometimes the house chores can be overwhelming. I like to take time out to either chat on facebook or circle of moms, write songs, read, or simply watching a comedy on tv. It helps bring my energy back up to continue about my day. It's good to know that other moms get as tired as I do sometimes. LOL. Blessings.

Lori, I like this post! I did five loads of laundry yesterday, getting caught up from the last couple of weekends. To relax, I've been reading and sewing (making daughter a bed skirt).
