Do babies vomit when they are congested without hacking first?

My son is 2 months old and has allergies. He has been congested for 2 weeks. It's mostly in the back of his throat now. Today, he threw up twice. The first time, I thought it was just watery spit up. A few hours later when it happened the second time, I realized he had vomited because of the smell. He is running no fever. Is this just related to his congestion? He didn't hack or anything before he threw up. It just came out a little while after a feeding both times.

i think sometimes things get so mucky in the back of their throats that they do spit up b/c the milk can't get down. try using the Ocean nasal spray a few minutes before he eats. and ask the pediatrician if you can use the nasal bulb.
