As moms, it's so important to take the time to exercise, but it seems so few take the time to do this.... When we take a half hour or 45 minutes to exercise at home with a good program, we feel more energetic, plus we get fit, and toned, which raises our self-esteem. So, I was wondering, how many of you take the time to exercise every day?

I excersize at the gym 3-4 times a week, for about an hour. I have arranged for my boyfreind to stay home with baby while im out. It makes me feel better and have more energy. It also gives me time to myself, and out of the house. For stay at home moms this is great!

My daugher doesn't like to nap some days and if she's going to be up during my work out time then she works out too....she uses spices from my spice rack as her weights. lol.

Jane, keep on exercising. This will help you lose the body fat, and get you fit and toned, like you want. Don't stop exercising after you've lost the weight you want though ;) Find an exercise program you can do at home that is fun and you will enjoy doing. That always keeps me going. Plus, schedule in your workouts ahead of time and decide what you will be doing. This has helped me over the past couple of years ;)

Tally, I encourage you to get in the habit again to exercise before your kids are up, even though you are busy. I also homeschool my 2 kids, I cook and clean, plus I am building a business at home. Most people think I am crazy! Exercising gives me the energy to do all I need to do everyday.

I try to fit in about 45 minutes everyday, of course there are days I can't. Even if I can only do 10-15 minutes @ a time I try to get it all in. I have to admit somedays I just don't want to but when I'm done I feel better. I have a 9 month old & about 10lbs I'd like to shed yet so I'm probably pushing myself a little harded then when I'm @ the weight I want to be. The last 10lbs seem to be the hardest & take the longest to loose but I keep plugging away @ it.

I exercise a few times a week. I used to do it more often... but I home school 5 children....work from home... and cook and clean!
What I try to do.. is every hour or so I stretch a little. I try to walk with my tummy tucked in.
I go out for walks a couple of times a week, pushing the stroller.
When I can, I do a little 10 minute Latin Dance Workout... I have to find a time when no one is home to laugh at me... nothing more entertaining to children than Mommy doing the Fat Burning Cha-Cha...hehe

Thanks for reminding us Mirdza

I exercise every morning from 6:15 to around 7:00, before preparing breakfast for my husband and my kids, and of course myself. I've been doing this for a few years now. It was hard at first to stay on track, and to even be motivated to exercise, but as I made it a habit and saw how much more energy I had, and how much more toned and fit I was becoming, which totally raised my self-esteem, I totally loved getting up and doing that. This is a habit I will never give up!
