i tried the cry it out method and truthfully i cant stand it, it hurts me to me heart to just let her cry...and i feel like that causes a baby to lost trust in mommie....im just goin to try to stick to my routine and hopefully it will work out eventually

I just went through it. it was so bad it got to the point where i either had to sleep on the couch with her or she would roll over and smack my husband in the face all night long in her sleep. we fineally just had to let her cry it out in her crib it was really hard but i stuck to our routine then i would lay her down and she would wake up so id let her cry 15min then go get her we did it 3 or 4 times a night the first few days. its been 2 weeks now and i must say she will only cry 2-3 min and then lay down and go to sleep. i got alot of crap from some for using the cio but you know what it was the only thing that would work and now i can actually get some sleep without her right on top of me. good luck

Thank you for posting this I thought that it was only me. It happened all of a sudden I am so glad to know that this is normal

its is very normal babies get very attached around this age an it can get a little worse till about nine months old my son did it i would go outside to smoke or go the restroom an he would be in the house with his dad or his grandma an he would cry so bad till i came back an got him it did get a little better but if i go to leave the house an he is not leaving with me he stands by the door an cries, an he is now 21 months the only suggestion i have is just keep doing waht your doing stay on the routine an soon enough she will jump back on bored with it
