I had suffered seizures since I was less than 1 week old and have had 6 brain surgeries for hydrocephalus. My last seizure was on June 10, 1982, last brain surgery was on November 7, 1991, and the last day I was on seizure medication was August 7, 1992. Not sure if it holds true in your child's case, but in my case, my husband, for whom I am thankful for figuring it out, attributes it to monosodium glutamate. I also attribute it to saccharin and aspartame. My last check-up in 2006, showed my shunt calcified and broken up, yet the pressure in my head normal. When I have anything with msg, though, my head throbs (I don't even have to swallow any of the food!), my tongue swells, and I grasp my lip, because I cannot swallow. I feel like I will seize up and die. Here are a few pages you can read. Also look up videos of Russell Blaylock and msg. www.msgtruth.org, http://www.rense.com/general92/msgb.htm

Omg that is awful. My son has a condition that gives him seizures. I rarely give him Tylenol because he already takes too much medication for his other issues.
