Is your daughter a "giver"?? Is she burning the candle at both ends right now? If so, she might need a little self care, some serious downtime. A few months ago I noticed that my period has been super heavy since I gave birth, and I thought it would go back to normal by now.. M son is 2.5! My acupuncturist told me that if I wasn't sleeping enough, or taking care of myself, that that could be the reason for the heavy bleeding. Might want to see if you could trade skills with an acupuncturist in your area. Even without health insurance you can get care.. You just need to be creative. Does a local acupuncturist need anything done around their office? Cleaning their home? Personal assistant for a day per week? Or is your partner a carpenter type who could help them with a project?
You have to reach out and explain your situation.. You might find someone is on your team:)
I hope so!

Look into DIIM (Diindolylmethane). It's amazing for regulating hormones altogether, in turn decreasing risks for problems, cancers, fibroids, etc. There are a lot of studies proving so. I've taken it for almost a year now (for cramps and other issues), and so has my mom (who is menopausal). It's been a blessing.

I tried pomegranate pills they are awesome. They made mine go from heavy to regular this month. I have also told my daughters to do it as well. The pills really help.

They do an outpatient procedure where they burn out the inside of your uterus, it seems drastic I know, but like I said, it is an outpatient thing and they do it laparoscopically if I'm not mistaken, but maybe they have some other type of procedure or something they can do to help. Maybe check with her gynecologist.

No it's not normal and yes we have had her to the doctor. We started her on the pill hesitantly and she was so so sick for about six months with headaches, dizziness, exhaustion, bloating, stomach pain and more so we recently stopped the stronger pill and put her on a weaker one. She bled through the entire pack an has continued to get sick (and yes anemic). So about a week ago my husband and I got so nervous, we just stopped all the hormones for her. But, I feel like I made it worse because she's now been bleeding for a month and very very heavy. We don't have health insurance so I thought maybe I could try some homeopathic stuff. I did try having her drink 1/2 pineapple 1/2 lemon juice. It did nothing (it's been known to slow bleeding) and I'm giving her iron/vitamin c twice a day for the anemia.

Have you seen a doctor about it? And if so, and your doctor tells you "it's normal"....well, no it isn't. There could be an underlying problem. I suffered heavy and painful periods all my teenage years and when I was 23 I was finally diagnosed with endometriosis. So get her to see a doctor and a referral to a specialist. this is not normal, and neither is it healthy (chances are she is also suffering from anemia).
