I have two petite toddlers under 3 and they always want an afternoon snack but then at 5:30 dinner they aren't very hungery. What should I do -I dont want them to be uncomforably hungry and I know most people should eat more than 3 meals a day. My hubby wants to eat at 5:30. Opinions?

i agree with sarah. try to make it an early snack and light. my daughter is almost 2 and a half and there r times before dinner she may be hungry so i might give her a couple crackers n a piece of cheese or a few pieces of cut up apple or half of a banana.

If you can have snack time be around 2:30 / 3:00pm and have it be something small, but that will tide them over. I like doing apples or a kind of fruit. When doing apples I usually do 1/2 an apple for each. Hopefully this will help them with being a little bit more hungry.
