My baby is teething, 6 have come through in the past month. She has become quite constipated and has very painful gas. Even waking in the middle of the night with horrible pain.

Has anyone else had the same problem with their teething baby??

Mine always had stomach trouble with teething. Some of it may be caused by all the drooling. Mine would swallow alot of it. Gas drops and teething tablets worked good. Tylenol if they were really hurting. Good luck. Teething is never fun.

Teething throws everything else out of wak. Give her gas drops and put dark kayro syrup in drinks or prune juice(if she's old enough),to help with her constipation.

My daughter always cuts a tooth with an upset windy tummy. Poor little sole not only does her gums hurt but her belly too. Teething affects children in different ways none of which are pleasant. Don't worry it will all be over soon. Then we have the tooth fairy and them all falling out again to look forward to! Joy!

My doctor told me to put a pinch of brown sugar in some cooled boiled water when my little girl had constipation.

i doubt very much that teething would cause severe gas pains.. unless your LO is swallowing excessive amounts of air WHILE crying. try a product called "little tummies" ive tried every gas product on the market and its the only one that works good for me.

good luck
