My 3 year old boy says some earwax is stuck in his ear and is troubling him. What is the best way to get it out without sticking a Q-tip in his ear?He is always sticking a finger in his ear trying to get it out...

My doctor has told me to use peroxide and it seems to really help. My boys will come and ask for the bubble stuff in their ears.. I have put it in my ears to see what it does and how it feels.. And i belive that it works and would do this rather then over the counter meds..

Q tips pack it in. Olive oil works, however if you want go to any drugstore and get earwax remover, it is drops placed in the ear 2 times a day and it eventually comes out. If it is REALLY bad a DR may have to remove it manually. Sometimes if water gets in the ear, the wax won't allow it to get out and causes a lot of pain. I had that issue bad when I was little. They usually grow out of it.

Take him to the docotor they may flush it out or give you this stuff to put in his ear to flush it out. My daughter had the same problem. They mite also use this tool to stick in his ear and get it out. Hope this helps!
