Hey everyone!I have a question for all you stay at home moms out there, or any mom for that matter. What do you do to have energy throughout the day? I don't drink coffee much because it has the opposite effect. I could take a nap afterwards. Espresso it okay sometimes.. and I've taken caffeine pills as well. I'm not overweight, and I do like to exercise.. but it's hard to get going sometimes. I have an 11 month old and a 9 year old. Any advice? Any tips or secrets you guys have? I'd LOVE to hear about them:) Thanks!!

Hi Aubrey! As a mother of an active 16 month old boy I totally understand the need for more energy! I had a very complicated pregnancy and was not allowed to exercise so it has taken a long time to get back into the routine. I do my best to eat well and get some exercise everyday. Also, I try to eat healthy snacks with plenty of protein when my energy gets low. You might also try to take your kids outside to play when you can, that seems to help me when I need a boost of energy. Also, it's okay to catch a nap sometimes just don't let it become an everyday occurrence or you will just make yourself more tired (I made that mistake and skipped exercises and ended up gaining weight). If anyone has any secrets or better advice I would love yo hear it as well! I hope I helped you Aubrey and good luck!
