I have a chalenge with starting to exercise, do really great for about a month then I just crap out! I have no excuse I just fall off the wagon. I blame PMS but that can only last so long. My treadmill is in front of the TV so I can let kids watch movies whle I walk or run. But then something happens and I can't get motivated anymore. It's very frustrating when I have the time but can't get myself to do it. Is it more maybe..anyone else have the time but can't get going? Of all the good examples I try to show my kids, this is one I feel I'm failing at badly..HELP!!

I have the same problem i go hard core for awhile and then totally lose interest. I think having a workout buddy would really help

Get a support group-- Our group is going to ZUMBA twice a week and car pool so that no one has an excuse.

Go for a walk - WITH the kids!
Fresh air is great...
they AND you - need it.
You create endorphines when you do, and endorphines are mood lifters... NOTE: the word 'orph' in there... natural pain reliever, too!
Maybe go to a nearby school and run races with your kids around the track ...
HAVE FUN!!! ♥

i have the time, and had not started a routine, however one of my sorority sisters told me she also wanted to lose weight, so yesterday we started p90x. she has amazing motivation, she's lost 80 lbs since high school and for her that was only 2 years ago. my suggestion is get a friend/workout buddy and you will motivate each other.

My nephew has one and loves it. We have a WII and you know what my kids don't really get into video games that much. Maybe this program would help them see that its all interactive. Again no excuse and I'll look into one..Mothers Day gift hint ;-)

I would do really good on the treadmill for awhile and then totally fall off the wagon too. I recently got the Wii Fit Plus and it has made exercise a lot of fun again. The kids love watching me do it and they even imitate me. There are a few of the things that more than one person can do at a time. My son loves to run along with me. There are so many different activities to do on there that it keeps you interested and an hour goes by before you know it.

I was having the same problem, until a neighbor of mine started working out with me. We hold eachother accountable, so even if one of us wants to blow it off, we don't, since we don't want to let the other down. We get up every day at either 5:30 or 6 am to work out, and it is done before the kids are even up...if I wait until later in the day, even if I have time, I never do it.
