Hi lovely moms!My LO is 17weeks old and she does not like ti leave me atall.Once my husband is off to work she sticks to me like a candy. She wants me to be around her round the clock. It really becomes difficult for me to complete house chores as if I leave her even for a second she cries a lot.Really seeking for help. Is this just a phase? Is anyone else having same problem?I am really exhausted.

Your daughter could also feel "seperation anxiety " when away from you. When putting her down try smiling to her and saying mommy will be right back or something in that manner, so she sees your incuraged and will definitely be right back!!! I'm going through the same boat.

It definitely is a phase. Babies, especially those who are breastfed are very attached to their mothers. Also, from your post it seems that you do not have any other members of the family staying with you. This could also be one reason why your daughter is so attached to you physically.

I would suggest you to give as much time as you can to your LO and to do this you could hire a part-time domestic help.

I am suggesting this, because these days of motherhood will never come back. Also, once your daughter grows up you yourself will crave and yearn for her physical company. Just enjoy and value the attention that you are getting from your daughter and try to make the most of it.

Always remember, the more the time you give to your kids, the more will be the time your kids will give to you in your old age. So be happy that you and your daughter are getting so much time and opportunity to spend that time with each other.

Thanks Pranita! What you are saying is alsolutely correct. This time will never return.
I am loving this phase of motherhood and feel lucky to be able to spend time with my darling daughter.
However, sometimes, just am too tired to enjoy with her.
