Feeling guilty :(

My husband and I planned our pregnancy to the tee and also planned for me to be a stay at home mom for as long as I'd like to. The problem is that we have a lot of friends who have had babies around the same time as us and are having to go back to work. I feel incredibly guilty whenever I complain about something to them, because I know that the would love to be in my position. Any suggestions as to how to deal with it?

I agree with Tally , You should be blessed and not be guilty on staying home with your children, I'm a stay home mom and i would love to go back to work. Jobs are very hard to find these days. Good luck

Well... I would say - stop feeling guilty, and feel blessed and thankful : )

And as far as complaining to your friends... We all have circumstances in our lives that challenge us, and we need to talk to someone about how we feel. If that someone is a real friend, they would listen and let us vent.. even though we might be acting a little "bratty" that day!

Staying home with our children is a huge blessing, but not without challenges and sacrifice. Maybe connect with some moms that do stay at home... and you can bounce stuff off each other.

take care
