I can totally relate and first things first.....IT WILL GET BETTER. We bought our home 3 months ago. Escro closed and we got our keys on my birthday, June22. That morning my husband had to go to the ER. He had to get his gall bladder removed immediately and had surgery that day. Prior to that he went to urgent clinics and the er one other time. So I to was dealing with all the important papers on closing the house. Our papers were in storage too so i was constantly running around!! We live in AZ and our summers our easily 110 degrees. We have no family in our state so we were staying with a family from our church while the house closed and we overstayed our welcome by a few days (the house took longer to close the expected) I have two boys 7 and 1 and at that time was 8 months pregnant with our daughter. I wanted to get out of their house ASAP but now my husband was in the hospital and how was I supposed to load things up with two hyper boys and being 8 months prego. I didnt want to ask the people we were staying with because they had already did so much for us but I ended up just asking if he could just take our bed and clothes to our home. My children and I stayed in our new home for 2-3 days without daddy. :( it just didnt feel right. When my husband was released from the hospital he still couldnt unload our storage. HE JUST HAD SURGERY!! It was a really stressful time. Buying a house can be really stressful and I think that once you are in your new home a lot of things will settle down. :-) Congrats on your new home!!

Yes. I don't do any important paper work but I have a two year old and a one year old, it's enough to drive me crazy.

Yes. I remember back when we bought our house and I was packing, taking care of the kids, and we had to get a power of attorney form because my husband was out of town when we were closing on the house. I'm still taking care of everything because my husband travels for work and we have 3 kids now. Try to find some me time in there somewhere. It'll help a lot.

Of course! All the time. I have a 2.5 year old and an almost 6 year old. It's very stressful. I'm single too so I don't get any help. I would say try not to do everything at once, just one thing at a time. If you can get some help like family members that would be good too.
