I am a first time mom and right now I am staying at home. I do some work from home making jewelry and I am having a little bit of trouble balancing between baby, everyday chores and getting some "me time"to work on my business without feeling guilty about not holding or playing with my baby. How do you find balance?

Thanks to you both. My daughter is 12 weeks today so I am thinking of now and the future. She naps for a couple of hrs in the AM and off and on through out the afternoon for about 10-20 mins at a time. I am hoping as she gets a little older things will get easier to manage it all. Thanks again.

Not sure if i am any help but i wanted to try & give my advice and also vent.
My Daughter is 3-1/2 she plays very well all by herself while i clean , organize , do laundry. I am very guilty of being soaked up in social media that i dont stop, take a break and join her. So i am trying to work on that. I am one day in new to circle of moms and already hooked so now i feel like great another group page that will distract my time with my child.
She naps sometimes , but most of the time i am either doing something in the house or on my phone surfing or both.
So my advice is (not sure how old your child is) block out a time each day to read/play/soend time with your child and a time to do your duties.
I will start doing the same!

HI Katie,
I am in the same boat as you. i find that the only time i can get work done is when my 9 month old is napping. Then its a choice of house work or work work. wish i had an answer for us both! lol
