Flash Cards?! Anything other than TV when stuck inside??

Does anyone have any recommendations for flash cards for a 13 month old? I just want to try something new with him. He has all the toys in the world and but he is getting less and less interested in them. I feel like he has had Sprout TV on in the background (he likes when there is music and singing) for too long and so now we have a definite limit on the TV. Any ideas? We live in an apartment (soon our house will be done being built, thank goodness!) and the weather has been too cold and terrible to go outside. He just stares longingly outside and it breaks my heart. Help?!?

I love painters tape! I make hopscotch with it, you can make shapes in your floor with it. Play games. Make a square and get your toddler to place toys in it :) You can do numbers or letters :)

we do a lot of arts and crafts. painting, coloring. I have a four year old that loves playdough (we make pb playdough so he can eat it if he wants) My 9 month old likes to play with empty jars putting stuff in them and taking them out. Both my kids love books and blocks
