Foods to feed my 10 month old

[deleted account] ( 4 moms have responded )

Does anyone have any suggestions on what to feed a 10 month old. I've met with a Nutitionist, but my baby girl isn't too interested in eating solid foods. What have you found that works for your 10 month old?

I fed my kids everything we ate....whatever you are cooking for supper just put it in a blender...my kids prefered that over jarred baby food. The Bullet blenders work awesome for it.

Make your own pureed foods and keep trying new foods at every meal. My son loved mashed sweet potatoes. I mashed them with carrots or applesauce. I used apple or pear juice to thin them out. I also mashed regular potatoes with butter and milk. He loved grilled cheese, waffles/pancakes, buttered noodles, cheerios, Gerber Puffs (which dissolve very easily so that's a good place to start), spaghetti, all kinds of fruits and soft cooked vegetables, and very small pieces of meat. I added mashed bananas to his cereal in the morning. Gradually I increased the thickness of the foods I made. I would chop his bananas and berries instead of mashing them, etc...Keep trying and good luck.

My son loves this. Lentils, squash, carrots and peas boiled together then pureed. Oh I also add a dash of cinnamon. Also when he first started solids he refused to eat vegetables so I added some fruits to them.

Have you thought about trying to give her soups? Try making your own to avoid all the chemicals added to canned soup. You can puree cream of broccoli and a lot of other kinds.
