my 2 boys love to eat frozen ice, but there daddy says it causes stomach cramps....is this true?

If you are worried about choking, just keep a drink nearby. That will just melt the ice quicker.

anytime my daughter get a bump or "owie" the only way I can get her to calm down is by letting her hold and suck on an icecube! The way I see it is, not only is she done crying but she's also reducing any swelling from the bump. Why not kill two birds with one stone!

Not bad for the tummy, bad for the teeth. But ice like shaved ice or even the Sonic type ice is okay.

but i crush up the ice cubes before giving it to them!!!!



its like a snow cone for eg but without any flavour.......i have an 18mth old boy....i would never give him a full ice cube!!!!!

Chewing ice cubes can cause small fissures in the teeth and are also a choking hazard. I would not recommend. Goodness knows what is in outside snow...heavy metals, salt, etc.

No, it doesn't! My kids are 4 and 6 and they still love to eat icecubes. And they have never had stomach cramps from it!
