I am totally frustrated because I'm living a monotonous life with my baby. He is 7 months old. There is no one at my home except my husband and he doesn't come home until 9 after finishing his job. How should I relax myself?

Why not take your bub on a weekly swimming and library trip to get yourself out of the house a couple of times a week? I get my husband to look after my daughter for a few hours every weekend so I can go to garage sales, on the way home I stop off at a coffee shop and rest for half an hour and read the paper. It's not much time, but I look forward to it every week

Look for mom's groups in your area through the library, a community college, a church. Parent-child swim lessons can be fun. Story time at the library. Just go to a park regularly, eventually the cabin fever will decrease and you will meet other SAHP's.

Good luck.

I am kindof in same boat but hubs gets home around 5. We get out of house almost everyday just to go somewhere and not feel cabin fever or cooped up. Also when my little on naps, I watch a tv show and rest or do Pilates or my nails, something just about me. Take care and know you are doing the hardest yet most rewarding job of all.

I was feeling exactly the way you are and a friend of mine suggested going to Meetup.com. There are so many different Mom groups in your area that you can join if you decide to. There are groups for SAHMs, working moms, single moms, moms in 20's, 30's and up, and moms just looking to meet friends and get the heck out of the house!! They set up events like a picnic in the park or day at the zoo or whatever. If you ever have an idea, you can plan an event as well.
I signed up about a month ago and have been to two events. The first one was a little intimidating because there were about 30 moms with at least one child each! Although, i met a lot of people I didnt really TALK to any of them. It seemed a little cliquey .. everyone was assembled into their own groups. tegardless, my daughter and i had a great time playing in the park.
The second event was with a completely different group, ( you can join however many groups you'd like), there were five of us and we went for a four mile walk. i preferred that group and event because we all actually had conversation!! Anyway, i ended up having lunch at my house with two of them after the walk and we all exchanged numbers. I plan on hanging out with them again soon!
So, you should check it out! I was surprised to find out there were other women that felt like I did that live near me. Not only did I make a couple friends, now my daughter will have other kids her age at her first birthday party!
