getting on the bottle

Is my son is about 4months old now. and hes never taking a bottle and if he does it a fight. i know i should be happy with this but im not making that much milk and need to start him on formula. he has started to take rice cereal. but just not sure how to get him to like the bottle.

any help besides changing the nipple>?

yes, let dad or a grandparent feed him while they are around. And I know it's hard to hear him fussing,but wait until he's really hungry to give him the bottle...baby will take anything when he is hungry enough.
Pumping and mixing 1/2 &1/2 with formula will get him used to a bottle faster too, because it still has mommy flavor to the milk.

bottle with breastmilk first - mine couldnt handle the wide mouth style had to use standard - and mine would not take similac but liked enfamil -

I wouldnt give him a bottle it will be easier in the long run if you give him a sippy cup instead. Thats what i did with my sons, they never had bottles at all. Was a lot easier and i never had the troube of weaning them off bottles when they were older.

Hold him really close like if you were still nursing. If there is someone else in the home let them give the bottles at first so he can get used to them. just the smell of you will make him resist.
