giving up breast feeding

I have been breast feeding my daughter who is just about to turn 2 and was given some wonderful advice on how to give up a couple of days ago and want to share it with other breast feeding mums. Of course I was dreading this moment mainly because I was constantly told how hard it would be to do, anyway the advice was to put vinegar on your breasts, well she went to feed and instantly said yuck and put them back in my top I explained to her that it tasted yuck because she was a big girl now and didn't need it anymore then at the night feed she just had a smell first and again put them back in my top and then today hasn't even looked at them this has been easier than I ever imagined so I hope this can help at least one mum in the same position

Wow I never heard that, when I weaned my daughter (she was 2.5) I just said oooo give me a second then got her occupied with something or a small snack then she forgot or what not. when I knew it was she was bored, then it ended up just when she was sleepy or hurt then I started just cuddling then stopped but never heard of this way. hrm glad it worked :)
