What do you think about it?

Have you gotten your child vaccinated?

You think its safe for little ones under one year?

I had my son vaccinated, because we are a big family living together and because we knew somebody die from it. It was the right choice for us. We had to just weigh pros and cons and we disscussed it with the doctor.

I think it's your choice what you do. I did a lot of research on it. I even saw how they made the H1N1 shot. It is egg based like the seasonal flu shot just has a different disease in it. Both my sons got the H1N1 shots and the seasonal flu shot. Both are doing great. I even got it done since I'm pregnant.

The only thing that doesn't make sense to me is that they tell you not to feed your child eggs until they are a year old but they are giving kids 6 months old and up the H1N1 flu shots. But as long as your child isn't allergic to eggs it shouldn't be a problem.

Quoting ASHLEY:

me, my husband, our 12 year old all got both the seasonal and h1n1 vaccines. none of us had any problems. it was important to me since we have also have a little one under 6 months old. a lot of ppl we know had came down with h1n1 so I just wanted to be safe.

did your infant get it too?

The media makes it sound a lot worse than it actually is. My 7 1/2 month old daughter got a vaccination and she is doing fine. The doctor put it to me this way.....there's a lot of kids that have died from H1N1, none have died from the vaccine. It's a personal choice and like all parents who care about their kids, you will do what you feel is best for them. I decided to get my daughter the vaccine because she was coming in contact with a few people who had been exposed the the virus.

i think its crap all crap, i would not get my children vaccinated and i dont think its safe for anyone! H1N1 isnt anything more then the normal flu exept a little higher feaver thats it! i dont get my kids vaccinated for the flu anyway cuz its not good for you, the things in it can make you have the flu and people die from that. one more thing the flu vacc. is just a guess at what the flu is going to be and if its not right then there are now two flues you have to worrie about.
