Had 3 C-sections am i doomed to never have a flat stomach again?

I've only had one c-section so what I say may not apply, but I hope it helps. I do my best to eat right and work out 3-4 times a week. The work out includes lots of ab exercises which stregnths the muscles. Cardio is the best way to loose the weight. It has helped, but I still have 5 pounds hanging on a year and a half later though. We c-section mommies have that strange pouch where the incision was made. The important thing is, is that you stay healthy. And they do make clothes that successfully hide the flab!

Well, that depends. Did you have a flat stomach before you started having children? I had 2 C-sections and a VBAC, and got my shape back after each one. It wasn't until they got big enough to do for themselves that I had to really work on it. Funny how, when you are in shape, working out is so fun! And when you are out of shape, as I am now, you just hate it! I guess it's all that fat jiggling where I didn't know you could get fat! I agree with Sara when she tells you to do cardio, but you should also add some resistance training, too. It is better to start while you are losing weight, that way, your muscle mass can help rev up your metabolism. The most important thing to remember is this. You are not just your shape, that being said, good luck on the journey!

I am working on getting my pre-baby body back after 4 kids in 6 years. The last 2 were c-sections. I have my fingers crossed for some flatness:)
