Every child is different. One thing I heard that helped me is to quit thinking of this time as the "terrible twos" and think of it as the "triumphant twos". She's learning and developing and changing every day. As a 2 yr. old, she doesn't know how to be manipulative and malicious. Love her lots -- and get help from Daddy, Grandma or a buddy if you need the support. Or us! We're here for you! :)

Sometimes traumatic experiences can trigger mood swings. Just like somebody who has been in a bad car accident, she has to recover mentally as well as physically and the acting up can be a part of this. She can't communicate fear and anxiety like an adult and she may be trying to do this in any way that you can understand. Try to be patient and be there for her but also keep the same rules you have and explain to her that if she needs you to just come to you instead of trying to be bad to get your attention.

wow, I was bitten by a dog as a teenager and that was pretty scary and I can't imagine how traumatizing it must have been to your baby girl. Also, they don't call it "terrible 2's" for nothing! Try diverting her attention to something she really likes, bubble baths, the wiggles, music , singing, something positive and pleasant.

hmm... well im assuming she got looked at well by a doc for any prob or possible sicknesses after bite... it could be coninciding w 2 yr old behavior?.. i would think it is that, maybe talk to doc again to relay your concerns
