Its for heaving bleeding during your period. Its a wand that has a mesh triangular net at the end of it and it lets out a electronic energy and basically scars your uterus so you dont have build up for periods anymore.

I had this procedure done last April. I had extremely painful periods to the point of passing out. I would have very heavy bleeding for 1 of the 7 days of my period. I had great success with this procedure. It was relatively pain free. I was pretty groggy the day I had it (from the vicodin) but the next day I felt great and was back to normal activity. I was not among the 50% who do not get a period afterward but now my period is soooo light and virtually no cramps at all. It only lasts 3 days and I can wear a light day pad the whole time. My mom on the other hand, had this done a few years ago and she had a very light period for about 9 months and then it disappeared all together.

After the procedure, I had a light discharge for 1 month. My doctor said to abstain from sex for 2 weeks. I am so glad that I had this done. They do recommend that you have a tubal ligation before this because if you do get pregnant it could be life threatening.
They have a website that you can go to for more information. Wish you well if you decide to get it done.
