Has anyone ever tried using oregano oil for seasonal allergies? how about for a 9 month old baby? My son has weepy eyes which seem to be worse when we go outside in the grass!

oregano oil is my wonder drug lol

and actually there is a way to use oregano oil on a baby, mix a drop or two into a bit of oil (olive oil, etc) and massage it into the babes feet :) you can also put a drop (or spritz a mixture of water and oregano oil) onto his pillow or blanket.  even just enhaling the smell helps (although I'm not sure how exactly :P) hope your little guy gets better!

Thanks for the advice, I am going to try using some probiotics with him. I think he has a grass allergy, As a Chiropractor I am always looking for the most natural method of treating my children... I have heard of the use of oregano oil for adults and was curious about using it one my son... I will not as of now! Again thanks and if anyone has any other advice for weeping eyes I would appreciate it!

Oregano oil is great for allergies and colds...but to use this on a 9 month old I think is too young. See your doctor and ask to get his allergies tested. He may be allergic to something in your home or food and it gets worse when he is in a different environment (outside). I'd find out if he has allergies, most natural herbs & medicines should be given over the age of 2.
