Not at all. I mean, after we had our first daughter, I kind of hoped we would have a boy...when we found out it was twins, I hoped at least one would be a boy. Just to have a son. But God gave me 3 beautiful, perfect baby girls whom I love to the ends of the earth and back and I would never think of trading one just so I could have a boy.

I have to admit, I don't get the whole gender selection, I live in the US...and I understand that we're used to getting exactly what we want when we want it. But some things are better left unmeddled with IMO.

No all I wanted was a healthy baby. Having had her at 33weeks I didn't care about her gender, she was ok and that was all that I cared about.

Some things I feel shouldn't be messed with IMO.

i have. i did all i could to try to get a boy this last time and i did., luckily. i knew it would be our last pregnancy and i knew it was important to my husband.

i was very hopeful that our first would be a boy b/c i thought it mattered to me, once she was born, i realized it didn't matter to me. when we had a 2nd girl, i was thrilled as well.

i love them all an amazing amount.

Nope. We have 2 boys and will have a 3rd. Ideally, we would love a little girl, but ultimately it really doesn't matter and I won't be disappointed to be handed a little boy the day he is born.

No. I work in adoption and see SO many people that just want a baby. It is such a blessing to be able to not have infertility issues. I always have my preferrences, but in the end I don't really care what I get, just blessed that I am able to have a baby. To me I feel if I want a certain gender that bad I will adopt that gender. I am not into aborting a baby just on it's gender.

Id like a boy because you know most people want one of each. The thing is with this economy isnt it easier to have the same sex you already have?? Everyone wants just a healthy baby but I love to save..
