Have a pimple question

Hi my little guy will be 7 months on the 13th and since he was born he has had one "pimple" on his nose that will not go away. Is this normal or should I be concerned. I google the question but they all say it should be gone by now. I tried asking my dr. but got no response. Any ideas out there?

My 4 1/2 month old daughter has a little "pimple" above her top lip that has been there since she was born. Her pediatrician told me at her 4 month appointment that it might take a while, but it will eventually go away, that "one day I just won't see it anymore."
In the meantime, I know it's tempting but DON'T pick at it!! It could leave a scar.

I think my son was 8 or 9 months before all of his baby acne went away. He had white pimples/bumps on his nose and they drove me crazy, but I was told it was normal and they would eventually go away. A baby's skin is very sensitive so I wouldn't put anything on it. Just keep his face clean and use a gentle baby wash. I agree with Kim. It's normal as long as it doesn't change shape or color.

If it hasn't gone away by your son's first birthday, you should make an appointment with a dermatologist. Infant acne is completely normal, but it usually comes and goes. I wouldn't worry, as long as it doesn't change shape/feel or color.
