Having a baby or Having a Hysterectomy

I am 29 years old and I have two step children. My husband and I can't have a baby because we are having problems. I have stomach problems and he had a vesoectomy done after his daugther. My problems is I want to have a baby and he does too but he doesn't want it to hurt my body in the long run. I have the opportunity to have a hysterecotmy or waiting forever to have a baby. The hysterectomy will get rid of my stomach problem. But my fear is if I do it I will never be able to have a baby. Does anyone have any advice.

he can get his vascetomy reversed, right? go w/your instinct. see if there is another doctor who has other options for you.

well if its that important to you maybe look to in where they can freeze your eggs. and maybe have someone else carry the baby for you. or maybe you can adopt a child. cause there are somemany kids out there to that need love from a mom and dad. what you choose i am sure it well be right for you and your husbend.

Is it important for you to have a child that is biologically yours? If the answer is no then you may want to look into adoption. As you know a family can be created in many different ways (step children). This would enable you to have the stomach problem taken care of and you feeling much better. Increasing your quality of life and your quality of life with your kids. But you would still be able to grow your family. It is a process to get to that spot to where you feel adoption is the route you and your family want to take, so just a thought and an idea of something you may want to explore.
