I think I have post partum depression, and nobody cares!! I have been literally MISERABLE for months now and everytime I try to tell someone what I'm going through, they either yell at me for being rediculous or comepletely ignore me! I have no friends I can talk to, and my husband is just a big underappreciative ass that makes it worse! Tonight for maybe the 12th time, I tried to talk to him about how I'm feeling, and he got mad and walked out on me! What am I doing wrong?? I have been hanging my relationship by a thread because I know it can work, and because of my daughter, but how can I make him listen to me?? Is it a lost cause?? I can't even see a doctor because I have no insurance! Somebody point me in the right direction to fixing myself please!!

Call Health and Human Services... they will point you in the right direction for free medical. Like the others have said there is usually some sort of clinic. I got Medi-Cal, Its totally free for me, for anything I need medically!!

if you can not get to a clinic--do you have someone at a church you could talk to? this is a real and serious issue even thought sometimes others do not understand--focus on setting a bond with your baby and contact an area health clinic asap-- an remeber men do not think like us-- find yourself a lady to talk too!

You need to hang in there first of all. The most important things in your life now should be your baby and you. You must take care of yourself so that you can care for that precious little one you have now. You are not alone in your post partum. Many women deal with this. Check your phone book for help. There should be a place that you can get help at little to no cost. This is a serious issue and you need to reach out for help if you are not getting the support you need at home. Good luck to you.

hey,

can you go to the clinic? they base thier fees off of your or your husbands income.

you are doing nothing wrong, having a babay takes alot out of a woman, and it does not help if he does not understand. you hormones need to get back in balance, and if he does not understand have him talk to another "female" in your family that can explain it to him.

sometimes, men do not understand.

do not give up! i am here to talk if needed!

it will get better...
