So my 5 month old son is a breastfed boy. I dont give him bottles nor pump. Im at home all day so i dont really need to and im comfortable to feed in public (covered of course) When bedtime comes he usually goes to bed on his own with like 2-3 of crying. The first time he wakes up is to eat so i just crawl in bed and feed em so he can just go to sleep while he eats. After that its down hill. He wont wake up to eat he just CRIES because he wants to have my boob in his mouth lol and honestly im just tired of my boob being a binky!! HELP!!

P.S. I have tried to use a binky but he just doesnt want it!

Jessica said it best. Enjoy the time you get with him right now, you are giving him "liquid gold" everytime he nurses. Its common for babies to just want to be comforted with the boob.

My son was sick when he was born and I had to pump, once he was home from the hospital he was used to bottles and we never got to nurse. I pumped for 5months straight. He is now 14mo and I still struggle daily with the fact that I couldn't nurse him, be thankful that you can :)

I say if you are done being a paci then just stop. I know that's easier said than done but "if momma aint happy aint nobody happy". I'd suggest not feeding him in bed. Try disassociating nursing with sleeping.

I wouldn't let it bother me if I were you. A binky is unnatural and bad for oral development. Babies need to suck. That's what they do. It's soothing. Be happy =) He's getting an all natural, orally beneficial, warm comfort from mommy along with the super milk. This time goes by fast. Enjoy it.
