Go to a doctor that can diagnose fibromyalgia...usually a rheumatologist. Do you have pain anywhere?

You don't need a doctor for a finger prick IgG blood test. You can do it yourself by sending off for a test pack.

I'm in the UK and I used a company called York Test Laboratories but there are also companies that do something called an ELISA test, which tests for the same food intolerances (approx 113 different foods).

They supply you with what you need, antiseptic wipe and the sterilised needle which you prick your finger with and add drops of blood onto a special tiny stick.

You really do need to do the test from blood. It's more accurate! Don't be fooled by cheaper BIO FEED-BACK machines. They can give conflicting advice.

Type in something like 'IgG food intolerance testing' or 'IgG food intolerance testing companies in the US' on the internet and see what you get for the States. It cost me 250 British Pounds for the test and results.

It's not cheap but it's the best money I've spent because I now have confirmation that what I thought my son was intolerant to, he actually WAS - despite me being told otherwise by the National Health Service.

If you do have intolerances, you will have to cut these foods out of your diet for a period of time to help your body recover. And if you do try to re-introduce them, it has to be done very slowly, in controlled amounts, over controlled times and one at a time, so as not to get confused reactions.

Best of luck.

Being overweight will cause you to be tired, listless and lacking in energy.
But have you ever considered you may have food intolerances which are causing your tiredeness and depression?
There's a massive link between diet, health, mental and physical well-being.
If you can afford it, why not look on line for an IgG finger prick blood test which will show you if you have any food intolerances which are making you feel the way you are?
We have recently had this done for our little one, who has a speech disorder and, since eliminating those foods which are problematic for him, his speech is coming on leaps and bounds. It's not coincidental!
By the way, the National Health Service in the UK told me my son didn't have allergies to wheat, gluten or dairy. I didn't believe them. The finger prick IgG blood test showed although he didn't have allergies, he had HUGE intolerances to these foods.
Allergies show up immediately with rashes etc. Food intolerances are much more subtle but can still make you unwell, feel down, etc.
Good luck. Hope this helps X
