help my 10 month old has to touch me to go to sleep what should i do?

i breastfeed her so she touches my chest to go to sleep. im tryin to get her to sleep alone if i move away she hmms and i move back she stops dont know what to do any advice?

this may sound mean or harsh and i don't want it to so PLEASE don't take it that way ... but i had the same problem with my son who's now almost 2(he's an only child and i'm an new mom ) so just like you i would cater to my baby's every need dreading to make him cry .... and now i still suffer for it at bed time its become an on going battle to where i wish i would have listen to my pediatrician and let my baby cry ... its part of the soothing process if you do it now as hard as it is you wont be like me paying for it later ... all though weve made huge progress my son no longer has to touch me while falling a sleep as long as he see's me sitting in his room hes ok :)

have tired that and i works a lil but she figures it out but i have to lay next to her for her to go to sleep and she keeps rubbing me its so wierd!! i dont wanna just hear her cry.

Can you lay her on a shirt you have worn, maybe it's the smell? Sounds weird but maybe it could work.
