How do you stop ur children from crawling into your bed at night... My husband and I have gotten to the point where we have just given up and its starting to affect our relationship

you have to be ready for a fight tears yelling from the kids each time they come get up put them back in their own beds it'll be frustrating for you the first couple nights but it will work goodluck it took me 4 days to get it done but it was worth it

Simple say no and send them to bed. Sure you will have to listen to some whining and crying but thats part of being a parent and taking a stand.

I have lost a lot of sleep lately trying to stop this with my youngest two girls. Kelsy has been doing this for quite a while now and we just put sissy in a toddler bed and she has tried doing the same thing. I started just putting them back in bed repeatedly and going back to many. It has been about a week and last night both girls stayed in their beds all night!!! Consistancy is the key. I know it is a lot harder trying to do more than one at a time, it was like my girls alternated every 30 min. But last night made it all worth it!!!

try to make them feel comfortable in their own rooms/beds.. night lights? music? not really sure on how to go about stoppin it, other than never startin.. but i know from experience wit myself and my mom. she never stopped me from sleepin wit her when i was little. and i was i think 14? when i finally decided to sleep by myself.. but now i am 20 and moved back home, and still love to sleep wit my mom.. =] dont think i have slept in my own bed since the first week i was home. and i came home October 11, 2009..

I agree with Jackie 100%! We moved to a new house about 6 months ago. And my son did this for about 4 1/2 months. You just have to keep telling them 'no go back to your bed' Beleive you me ive lost alot of sleep taking our son back to his own bed. Some nites 3 or 4 times. You have to take the lead and show them whos boss.
