Help! My two year old son is having difficult sleeping!

Brennan just turned two in June. And as of this week is having difficult going to sleep. He will scream and cry nonstop. And last night when we final got him to fall asleep he woke back up at around midnight crying again. It took my husband and I about an hour and my husband laying down with him in the extra bed in Brennan's room to get him back to sleep.

Brennan is typical a wonderful sleeper. We thought at first maybe his was becoming afraid of the dark so we have turned on a hall light for him but it doesn't seem to be helping. I am current 4/5 months pregnant with our second child. I am not sure if this make any difference.

Any suggest would be greatly helpful.

2 year molars?? that's when mine was waking in pain. He was just not himself. We'd have to use orajel just to ease pain so he could get into comfort zone for sleeping. but he'd often wake up at night in pain again. repeat, cuddle back in bed. Does he already have two year molars in?

Only difference i noticed with my son was wanting more hugs when i was pregnant. it never affected his sleep. ????

My son is a great sleeper and when he doesnt sleep, its usually a result of either teething or an ear infection. Maybe there is something bothering him...
