LOL!! I bribe my daughter with the potty training thing. She wanted to go to preschool so bad!! They would not accept her unless she was trained (which helped me) because I just told her that if she wanted to go to school she had to potty like a big girl?? I put her in panties only..no pull ups...she did well with it. My mother-in-law rewarded my sister-in-law with MM's when she would go everytime?

Well, I'm not sure about girls but the few things that I tried were - giving examples (like some older child they are fond of), the sticker book (more sticker on any day to reward them), generally explaining being clean and dirty (which one they would like to be!). Hope this helps.

I posted a minute ago about my son.. I have a problem trying to potty train my daughter. She will tee-tee some times, and has only pooped twice in the potty. Any types on how to potty train her? The bribing thing wont work with her, I've tried it.

My older son Arnav was not too easy. We did try the open bottom. It did work intially but how long can one go on. I found some nice Elmo videos on the Sesame Street website. See if you can find those and if they can help.

With my son, gettin him to tee-tee in the potty was easy, pooping was a different story. I know it sounds wrong, but I decided to see if a bribe would work. I let him pick out a bicycle he wanted, let him play on it, ride it, as long as he went to the potty like a big boy. But if he messed up his big boys, I chained the bike up, the only thing he could do was look at it. I done that for about a week, and he starting going to the potty all the time then. Hope this helps......

Thanks, I have tried training paints but he just thiks they are diapers. My daughter was like that too. Today we are trying no pants with a long shirt. My hubby and I noticed last night before bath; when Jacob was running around bottomless, he recognized when he had to go? His next surprise (when mommy goes shopping alone) will be potty related=D Thanks for the advice. Grace was so much easier to train. I hope Samuel is easier than this. I really feel its b/c Jacob really wants to be "The baby" again?? Maybe I am wrong?

Don't know what all you've tried but I think at 3 a child can understand a lot of things. Try books and videos... there are lots of them available. All the best!
