My son is having sinus drainage when he lays down. It causes him to cough and wake up. Any suggestions to help dry it up so he won't cough? I'd prefer homepathic remedies. Thanx!

Yes honey is bad for a baby. It can have botulism in it. May seem weird to think it could have it in and it doesn't affect adults but it is true. Think of how tiny your baby is and that will give you a clue as to how dangerous it is for a baby. Is it worth taking a chance with your babies life?
But the pillows do seem to work well when my daughter has any drainage.

I put a pillow or sometimes 2 under the top of the mattress. Make sure its under because of the whole baby safety factor (common sense) and depending on his age mix a little honey and lemon juice together and give it the lemon cuts the phylm and the honey coats a sore throat. Some say honey is bad for babies but it all depends on how you do it like anything.
