My 9 month old still wakes up 3 times a night and only takes ONE 42 minute nap during the day!!! My husband is deployed and when he is home he works a lot so he has never gotten up with the baby. So long story short, I get no breaks... seriously. I am losing it I swear! I don't believe in the cry it out method... and neither does my son, trust me, I've tried. He is otherwise a happy baby, even if he is super tired. After the 2nd time of waking I usually just bring him into the bed with me. I do give him a bottle every once and while just to make it easier on myself. I rock him and feed him to sleep for naps and take a nap myself with him in my arms the entire time. If I attempt to put him in his crib he will just wake back up and play. I feel like I am on survival mode 24/7. My husband comes home in about 3 months and I think we will sleep train then because there is no way I can do it alone. In the mean time, does anyone have any simple tricks to help your baby sleep better??? Thanks!

Is he teething? That might be a factor. My daughters woke up a lot at that age too. In fact my 2.5 year old STILL doesn't sleep through the night and I'm a single mom so I kind of know where you're coming from.
I would check his teeth. If his gums are swollen, give him something. Like an off brand of Tylenol.
