Everything is a learning experience, best way for lil ones to learn in through play flash cards work books an what not are okay but theres so much more you can do to help your lil one, get a toddler science book then take her into her world an show her things, if you can order caterpillars and do the stages of butterflys... make a tornado in a bottle, or fill up emptys with things that make noise rice, cereal, noddles, pepples talk about the diff sounds, oil an water is another good one talk about how they seperate, feild trips zoos, parks, orchards, anything... ex preschool teacher here if you need any ideas just email me

Not sure how old your little one is, but I've recently started baking with my 30 month old. Obviously not much they can do at this age in the kitchen, but we count out our measurements, talk about different ingredients and where they come from (chickens make eggs, etc), and, her personal favorite part, work on our colors with the sprinkles we put on the cookies. I think there are a lot of learning opportunities to be had out of the kitchen, but fair warning, the mess can be titanic! :)
