HI i need help my todler Simone wants my attencion and fights with me all the time but im a stay at home mom with no help at all and Alex who just turned one is also needing my attencion I feel guilty for Simones feeling but i ge depressed and sometimes i just dont want to be alone and I withdraw from everything around me when they are near i dont khow what to do anymore ,the chores ,feeding them,cooking ,cleaning i am always dirty and cleaning I dont even feel like a woman anymore how do other moms do it and enjoy it t

I completely agree with Alison 100 % ... You have to take care of yourself first and we all feel like that at some point and time ... I believe you can get through this as alison mentioned you have to do it for your kids ... which are top priority :) Goodluck and stay clam and focused on the most important things .. don't stress over spilled milk as they say .... This sounds like a tough situation. One great piece of advice I got from my friend who was a single mom of two was to meet moms needs first. Don't put off going to the bathroom or taking a shower. Take care of yourself so you can take care of your children. I can tell you that when my girls were as young as your little ones, I was depressed.

Look into local programs that could offer you some help (there may be organizations that would offer some short term baby sitting). If you have any friends or family who could help you out - ASK FOR HELP!!! Try to get out of the house every day. Look for activities at the library or community center to change from your daily routine and get out of your messy house.

I know it can be REALLY hard to make these things happen when you are depressed, but I believe you can do it for your children.
