Hi there! I have been a mom for 12 years, and have three child, 12, 9 and 18 months. Two boys (oldest and youngest) and one girl.

We are very active in sports. I cannot call myself the typical soccer mom, because my kids don't play soccer. Football, field hockey, basketball, baseball and softball... Whew, I get tired just typing all that!

My dd is a type 1 diabetic, just over two years and this past

July was diagnosed with Celiac disease. What an adventure!

The boys are healthy and rambunctious .... The lil man doesn't talk much, yet. I was worried about that.... But on this site I found I am not alone!YAY I always feel alone, so that made me feel good-thank you!

I am an EMT for a local volunteer squad and a firefighter volunteer. There a days I look forward to my pager going off, because that is usually my only beak from the kids... How sad is that?

Anyway, I an new here... And I love what I have seen, read and looking forward to interacting with other moms who chose to stay home. We are a rare breed.....

Thank you! My older kids were very much about that 1/4, 1/2 & 3/4.

My daughter wants to be homeschooled. She is super bright and is getting lost in the public school system. Her teachers have to deal with too much to give the smarter kids a real challenge. I am scared tho... We have a great homeschooled support system, and several friends are a part of it. I worry about social things once sports are over...
