At age 9 months I could lay my daughter in bed w paci's all around and she went to sleep on her own, also did the same for her twi naps a day. Well 3 weeks ago on her second birthday she got a sinus infection. Dr told me to give her Little Noses Decongetion nose drops. Well it was like she was on crack, up 22 out of 24 hours. After about 3 days I figured it out. Now she is on her 3rd round of anitibiotics and sinus infection is gone, still has a little ear infection. The problem is I cant get her to just lay down and go to sleep anymore. I have to sit and hold her and we watch dora. Also she is not napping at all during the day. What can I do to get her back to going to sleep on her own? She was a baby when I trained her to do it the first time, now she is a very very very active toddler. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

I have never sleep-trained my son. He's now 2 years old. I love the snuggle time while rocking him to sleep. I have learned that we cannot watch thomas. He makes himself stay awake for thomas. So after bath, he gets to watch 1 episode of thomas while he drinks his milk, after that episode "thomas goes to bed" and I change the channel to something that I know will not want to stay awake to watch but also will not expose him to material he's not ready for. Currently its Little House on the Praire.
