My husband works full time and I stay home for our four children whike attending online school. We are going to have nearly 15000 dollars by may of next year and wanting to move from kansas to Alabama. I need help figuring out good places to move to and would like to make some mommy friends too. Also I am saving every penny I can but we need more to be able to move next year. Help please?

Kim,

I think really what it boils down to is finding something that you truly love. Direct sales CAN actually work, but you have got to connect with the product in order to promote it honestly. Depending on the product, your success with a direct sales company is not necessarily tied to the size of your personal network (family, friends, etc.). If someone sees your passion about anything (product, service, etc.), then they will want to hear what you have to say. Think about a normal job you might like to do or find a product you might like to sell and then focus on it and embrace the focus to get started.

Keep in mind that a lot of the direct selling companies either require you to go and do parties or you need to have a big network of friends and family to actually make any money from them.
Unless you can go out and meet a lot of new people then network marketing isn't going to make you money.

I have an 18 month old and i am 35 weeks pregnant with another.
When i first gave birth to my son i started with a direct selling company called Partylite (uk and US). this gave me the opportunity to get out and meet new people, work little hours and around my own routine. It is a way to have your own business and you can really make as much as you want. There are other options here in the uk like Bodyshop, Enjo, Pampered Chef....

I no longer do this as i have my own business. If you have any idea this is the best way to make your own money, although it takes alot of time and dedication.
I am still in the process of creating my website, however the FB groups are a success - Yummy Mummies & Tots.

I hope you find something suitable for you and your family xx

Thank you for that. I don't think Marketing and Sales would make me any money. I do not have very many friends. I like to have small friend circle because I have become somewhat of a hermit. I like to stay home and I am a very awkward person. I met this very nice woman at the river walk when I took my kids out on a walk to the river and I was trying to speak german to her and completely lost it. It was not very fun. Anyway I cant sell things.

There are a few businesses that I can recommend:

Avon is $10 to start from home, Plexus Slim is $34.95 annually, Norwex is another one (they have some new consultant specials going on), Simply Aroma was doing a special free sign up that ends today (I have the code but haven't used it because I don't have the shipping costs), Pink Zebra is $75 or $99 for their standard kit, and Mary Kay is $100.

All of these are great with meeting new people and making money at the same time! I hope this has helped. :)

Hi Kim.
There is a direct selling company called Forever Living who are based in the US but sell aloe products all over the world including the Uk, which is where I am from. I know about them as I buy their products, which are great.

J Lo: is my post funny because I haven't deleted yours yet? You have found a way around the soliciting rule but if members start complaining about your PM's and report them as spam then you will find yourself removed from the site by management.
