Boys seem to have more issues with this. My son is also 6 also. I would suggest no liquids between 1-2hours before bed. Potty a couple of times before bed. Make him go try even if he says no. Rewards are huge!!! I wouldn't do the training pants. I feel they are confusing to the child. If they have graduated to underwear when you go back to diaper type stuff if makes it ok to have accidents. Even if you have to change sheets everyday it is worth it! if that doesn't work I would suggest talking to the pediatrician. Good Luck!

He will stop in his own time when his body is ready. I wet the bed until I was about 10. There was nothing my parents could do about it. That is just the way my body worked, or should I say didn't. My brother was about 12 before he stopped. I know it isn't encouraging to hear, but eventually he will stop. It really isn't that uncommon. Some people wake their kids in the middle of the night and make them go to the bathroom.

Have you spoken with his doctor? He really may just need his bladder to cach up with him. You can help him by eliminating liquids an hour or so before bed and making sure he uses the toilet before bed. You've probably already tried this, but keep at it. Use the nighttime special underpants and get a bed liner for him. Try to keep things positive for him.
