I can't get my ten month old on a sippe cup. I didn't have any problems getting my oldest son on the cup. I have tried everything with my youngest and I can't get him to drink out of a cup

I think my daughter learned by watching her brother who is 10m older. She's been doing it for a while. Only problem is, he doesn't like to share. :( He can have 4 cups w/the same thing, and gets ticked off when she wants one. We're working on nipping that one real quick!!

maybe too soon.. My daughter wouldn't take them on a reg basis till she was a year.. nuby makes a transitional one that works great

Hi, what i did was i filled up my sons sippie cup with milk or whatever and gave it to him and everytime he asked for his bottle i gave it to him. Ur son wont go thursty....eventually he will get it that the only way he is gonna get what he wants is to drink from the sippie cup....I hope that helps it worked for me

My ds refused any sippy cup I gave him, and we tried many, I finally tried a straw cup and he loved it. In order to get him to understand there was juice in it I first gave him a juice box and squeezed it so a little juice went into his mouth, then quickly swapped it out w/ the straw sippy and he took to it immediately. My dd thankfully took right to a regular sippy right away, but only likes the ones w/ the soft spouts. I would try a few different ones, I know alot of people that bottle feed say the nuby sippy cup w/ the silicone spout works well. Good Luck!

I put a sippie cup filled with water out on the coffee table so that it was easily accessible to my kids.....eventually, they get curious and give it a try. Just keep leaving the cup in reach of him at all times. Maybe buy one that has his favourite character on it. My son had one with Thomas the Train on it.....he is addicted to Thomas and thought the cup was great!

Good luck!

I have three kids youngest three. I never forced the cup on them just slowly introduced it. let them just play with it at first with a little juice or something.. Mine never took the bottle longer than a few months after i let them start playing with it. You can get them that have a spout made out of silicone like a bottle nipple but shaped more like a sippy spout i started with them and just slowly changed to the harder spout.
