My daughter is 12 months Friday and has recently been trying to climb out of her crib. She has fallen back into it but gets her leg stuck in-between the bars. I'm really worried she's gonna hurt her self bad. Anyone know how I can keep this from happening I'm out of ideas?

For a while with both of my boys I considered duct tape and bungee cord, but as that seems abusive to them, didn't go there. I tweaked bedtime and the routine and let them take two toys or books to bed with them. One moved into his toddler bed at 18 months and the other at 2 years of age.

Good luck.

They make a net topper for those reasons but I would recommend getting the toddler bed also. Those things just seemed like they might not be safe. Baby gate at the door!!!! Once they have a little bit of freedom to play with toys etc... it will be great. Hey they might go back to sleep after the newness wears off.

I walked in on my son sitting in the top drawer of the dresser that was at the end of the crib. Either get a toddler bed, or, if you need to, put the mattress on the floor. I like the toddler bed because it still says "bed" instead of play time. :)
