I have never made a baby wait to eat because of my schedule, but I do think of what I would like their schedule to be and feed them at that time BEFORE they get hungry. In other words - I will wake them up to eat! I used to think it was crazy to wake a sleeping baby.. but a baby who is fed before they cry for food becomes a very pleasant baby.

I would love a schedule too! LOL, that is not going to work. Like the other moms said, I too let my baby guide me. The only thing I do with my son is we have a routine that every night at 6pm I give him a bath then bottle and he is sleeping by 7pm. That really works for us.

Thank you both! I'm so not ready for her to start teething!!! But that's just the baby package me and my husband signed up for OMG:)

That worked for us too. We just took notice of what our daughter was doing then tried to keep things relatively along that line. Warning you though: just as you get accustomed to one schedule your kid will change it. Growth spurts, teething, that sort of thing. Stay strong mama! ;)

I let my boys guide me, and when they seemed to be showing kinda routine with their feeding, then I just fine tuned it. My eldest liked to feed every 3hrs, so I would feed him every 3-3.5hrs unless he asked for it earlier (growth spurts etc).
When it came to naps, again I would let them guide me with their natural tiredness. I never put them down at a particular time, but I'm lucky and they seem to like sleeping after being awake about 2hrs.
