I broke up with her dad before she was even born, i met this lovely man when she was 3 months old, we fell in love, ten decided to get married. He loves my child as his own, and my child loves him as his dad. But I think she deserves to know now that she is 3 yrs. She got many questions as where is my father, not the 1 we staying wit but mine? How can I tell her?

well my first question is at 3 years old is have u or him already slipped up and said something about the other man? bc my husband is not the father of my 6 year old and she has never asked any questions regrading it. he has been apart of her life since she was 5 mths. thats her dad and always will be. i dont think i will ever tell my daughter different bc i was raped and thats how i got pregnant with her. at 3 years old she should be more worried about playing dress up then asking those questions. i think that if you do want to tell her it will be best to wait till she is old enuff to fully understand and being 3 is not old enuff yet. you will know in your heart when the time is right. i wish you all the luck with this and i haope it turns out for the best.
