Charlotte has a 1 1/2 to 2 hr nap every morning about 3 hrs after waking and then a 1/2 to 1 hr nap every afternoon about 3 hrs after waking from her morning nap. Then I don't expect her to be ready for bed until about 3 hrs after waking from her afternoon nap.

An afternoon breastfeed, then dinner then a goodnight feed.

This is not always, and sometimes we're out and the naps and the meals change, but usually, she'll sleep until morning (which I count as if the sun is up, it's morning :) )

If she hasn't eaten or breastfed enough before bed, she'll almost definately be awake at some point for that last feed. She slept through (11 hrs average) from 2 mths to 7 mths most nights. She was quite a sleepy little baby. Then at her first tooth, never did again until just this week, at 11 mths, when YAY! she slept all night and stupid me sat up and didn't go to bed til late, so didn't get as much sleep as I could have. Ah well.

OUr job is to give our kids what they need when they need it. As long as Charlotte needs me, I'll be there. I am just lucky she's a bit of a sleep fan, like her Daddy and Me.

I wish you luck.....I have sung to my 17 month old since birth and this gets him to calm down and go to to waking in the night, I try singing again (assuming he is not wet) and never pick him up. Sometimes pat his back until back asleep....most nights he sleeps through the night

My son didn't sleep through the night once until he turned one. I had to train him to do it per my pediatricians recommendation. The first few nights I would go into his room 2 or 3 times when he cried (5min, then 10 min, then 15) and pat his back and say calming things but did NOT pick him up. As the nights passed I went in there less and less. I didn't even take a week and he sleeps GREAT now. Give it a try... hope it works for you! Give me a hollar if you have any questions.

Lighter naps during the day and heavier bottles/food before bed. Also move their bed time up until they start sleeping all night.

depends on the kid... all of mine were sleeping through the night by 1
