I worked full time until I was about 7 months pregnant, at which time I moved states to be with my husband. It is a very big adjustment, not only because you aren't working, but you are spending all of you time with a child, and that is a task in itself. I try to take my son out every day to spend time around other kids, not only for him but for me to be around other moms. That has been the one thing that has really made the adjustment easier. My son is 15 months old and I have been doing this since he was about 10 months old. It is really just now easy, though I have classes full time online, so I have something to do when he is asleep, well you know besides the house work. I would say to be sure to get out of your house and be around other adults. I still miss working some days, but most days I count my blessings that I am privileged enough to be able to stay home with son.

I have daily, weekly and monthly goals. I make the best of my time with the children. But I also work from home part time, so I can continue to contribute financially.
